I saw you wanted a tutorial on how to use Blender for these cursors. I dont make tutorials but I can give you some pointers. I use a few simple steps and will put a '*' by each so its easier to follow.. *Modeling and materials cannot be too detail as the max cursor size will only be 64x64px. *Your lighting setup needs a backlight, a flood/fill light without effecting specular, and a specular light. *lighting will also be depending upon your materials this setup is for something that has reflective materials. For materials without reflections I use an emit shader as the object material and no lights. *Use rwdesigner for the shadows--I mostly use just an outline (effect, outline in rwdesigner's menu) because it is difficult to make a proper drop shadow that stays within the layer size. *I sometimes will render 640x640 so I can see better what is going on. but *always plan on the 64x64 size as max and 32x32px is normally the size on most people's screen. If you need more help let me know.
