Theme of the Month contests

TOTM contests are monthly open contests for icon and cursor authors. Each month, there is a new theme announced in the Request forum.

How to participate

1. Find out what is the theme and what is the submission deadline by visiting the relevant thread in the Request forum.
2. Create your icon or cursor set and add it to the Gallery. If you want to create a cursor set, make sure you have a cursor for each of the most import roles. For icon set, include at least 6 different thematic icons.
3. Go back to the active TOTM thread in the Request forum and reply to it, submitting a sets to the contest. You will only be able to reply to the topic if you have at least one set that was added to the gallery during the month and only while the submission phase is active (usually between 1st and 21st day of each month).

Picking the winners

Once the submission phase is over, people with sufficient karma will be able to use the upvotes to pick their favorite sets. You can use all your votes during this period, but you cannot vote for your own set.

Prizes

After the voting phase is over on the last day of the month, people will be able to claim their prizes by visiting the contest page in the forums and clicking a 'claim' link. Every participant receives a TOTM trophy and there are some buttons waiting for the authors of most upvoted sets.

Tips

• If you want to participate in a next month TOTM and you have prepared the set in advance, do not add it to the Gallery before the contest starts. If you do, you will not be able to submit it to the contest.
• Do not downvote sets of other participants, that is not nice.
