Is this project ever going to expand?

I've been using RWPaint since I was 8 years old- it's actually pretty crazy to think about how I found this program googling free photoshop way back then but over the years I've matured and learned to really utilize it for the things I do on the daily.

However, as amazing as it still holds up I'm really curious, is the project ever going to be updated again?
