How to get buttons?

The primary way to earn buttons is by reviewing icon and cursor sets in the gallery. There is a daily limit of six buttons per day and the difficulty of getting each successive button in a day increases. Buttons are only given to people, who follow the reviewing guidelines. Must be able to rate cursor and icon sets

Playing Cosmic Journey will earn you buttons. You'll get buttons the first time you beat a stage and each time you get in the top-ten table.

Getting a high score on the 15 Puzzle awards you buttons. You also get a button each time you solve the puzzle in less than 100 moves. Must have your own 15 Puzzle in Workshop

Playing the Memory game can award you buttons. You'll earn a button for the first time you complete each difficulty, one button for each time you get in the top-ten list, and one per week when you complete the hardest level in 35 attempts or fewer. Must have your own Picture cards in Workshop

You can pick buttons from a Potted Button Pom. It starts off growing once a day, but the growth time increases as you pick more buttons. Buttons are picked manually to receive them. Must have a Potted Button Pom in Workshop

You can receive them from other registered users usually as a gift or donation or even by participating in one of their contests.

Creating and entering a contest entry can earn you a few buttons upon entry.

Selling items in the Flea Market earns you buttons. You can sell items in your workshop by clicking SELL on a compatible item. You can sell up to 3 items at a time. Sold items must be purchased by another user for buttons to be earned.

Users who have created a site theme can earn buttons when another user purchases your theme's wallpaper. Each purchase earns you 1 button.

Users who have secured their account by setting a password and verifying their email address earn 5 buttons for each task, 10 buttons total. Changing your account's email will decimate 5 buttons from your account until the new email is verified.

Users who own a suspicious magic bag may occasionally receive a button after shaking their bag.

What NOT to do

• Be aware that leaving low quality or always the same reviews will result in no buttons. Even if you manage to outwit the automated checks, buttons will be taken away by the administrators later. In that case, your account will be limited and you will not be able to receive any more buttons.

• Creating extra accounts for the sole purpose of obtaining more buttons per day is not allowed. Disregarding this rule will result in confiscation of all your workshop items, merging all your accounts and limiting them (see above).
