It kind of depends on what pc you have, but if you have a windows PC you'll have to go to settings, personalization, themes, 'n then click cursors. I reccomend putting the cursors in another folder beforehand (&-- - by

maybe labeling it with the cursor theme you're going with, if you're forgetful). Once you click on mouse cursor, a popup that's called "Mouse properties" should come up. It's super easy here, you just go to the folder, click a pre-existing cursor-- - by

theme (ex. normal select) & find the cursor theme you want to use and click that. You'll have to do that with every cursor sprite, but after you're finished you can press "Save as" & you can name it whatever you want. - by

If the cursor sprites aren't fucked up, there shouldn't be anything popping up. If there is, however,, I'd probably recommend trying to see why that is, since it can get corrupted! - by
